A working prototype, built and delivered, for a risk, audit, or compliance problem your team has scoped but does not have the engineering capacity to test. The purpose is to make a decision cheaper: a prototype that runs on your data settles arguments that a requirements document cannot.

How the engagement runs

  1. Problem definition. The decision the prototype exists to inform, and the test that tells you it worked.
  2. Data agreement. What data is used, where it lives during the build, and what happens to it at the end.
  3. Build. Short delivery cycles with a working artifact at the end of each.
  4. Evaluation. The prototype run against the agreed test with your team present.
  5. Disposition. Handover of the code, or a written recommendation not to proceed.

  • Working prototype and its source code
  • Build and data handling documentation
  • Evaluation results against the test agreed at the start
  • A recommendation, including a recommendation to stop where that is the honest answer

Scope note

A prototype is a decision instrument, not a production system. Where a prototype is adopted, the work to make it production ready is scoped separately. Naitra does not provide assurance over a system it has built.
