AI governance
The structure that lets an organization say what artificial intelligence it is running, who approved each use, what risk each use carries, and how that is reported upward. Most organizations acquire AI use faster than they acquire the governance for it, and discover the gap when a regulator, a customer, or an auditor asks for the inventory.
How the engagement runs
- Current state. What AI is in use, including tools acquired outside the technology function.
- Inventory and classification. A register of AI uses with a risk classification your organization can apply consistently.
- Policy and approval. A policy written to be enforceable, and an approval path that fits how your organization actually buys and builds.
- Monitoring and reporting. What is measured, at what cadence, and what reaches the board.
- Handover. Your team runs it, with the artifacts to do so.
What you receive
- AI inventory with risk classification
- Policy and standard set
- Approval workflow definition
- Monitoring plan and reporting pack template
- Board and audit committee reporting outline
Criteria used
Engagements draw on the AI Risk Management Framework published by the National Institute of Standards and Technology, and on ISO/IEC 42001 where your organization has adopted it. Where a legal obligation is in question, Naitra works to the position your legal counsel has determined. Naitra does not provide legal advice.
